SUB utility and conservation informationAsk the utility on your bill which programs apply. Energy Trust is another program starting point; confirm the address, utility and project with it directly.
Energy Trust residential heating informationRequest the complete installed price first. Show a proposed incentive separately and confirm it with the program. This guide does not quote rebate or tax-credit amounts or promise approval. Income-based programs and equipment requirements need an individual eligibility check.
Keep the proposal, approval, model numbers, invoice and application confirmation together. Ask the program how equipment substitutions affect approval.
If the proposal also includes insulation or air sealing, describe those measures separately from the equipment installation. Ask the utility whether each measure has its own eligibility, contractor and approval requirements. Do not assume a heat-pump incentive also covers attic or crawl-space work.
